And I’m about to land in SFO for the west coast leg, immediately followed by the Minnesota leg next week.

Might be adding an October tour stop in southern Ontario and/or Detroit area. Hoping to add a late September stop in Arizona, but not holding my breath on that one. To the southern states, the midwest, Texas (I know y’all like to be considered your own thing), and the Rockies, all I can say is “get more rallies!”

That drive from Monterey to SF is beautiful if you stay on 1. Welllllll, take 1 all the way to 84 (La Honda), to 35 (Skyline), to 92 back to 1 and take that into SF.

Or, drive across from 1 to 101 on Skaggs from Stewart’s Point to Healdsburg. It was my therapist for like half a decade. Lots of elevation change, lots of Redwoods, practically no traffic, amazing views of valleys and mountains. Vehicular perfection. Eat/drink at Bear Republic Brewery, when you’re done. Boom. Cheap one-day vacation in wine country without all the wine country tourists.

If you are in southern ontario, spend a day driving in Muskoka. Just watch for fallen leaves on the road, they are 10 times worse then sand.

They tried to run one there the past two years but the township slacked off on filing the permits. There’s a new event this year called the “Tri-state Rally,” which has stages in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona
